Project Tailsonic

Full Release
Starts now!

Welcome to Project Tailsonic's OFFICIAL Vs. Tailsonic page! I know the Gamebanana page already exists for it, but I just thought I should make a page for it here, too.
Vs. Tailsonic Plus is not listed here yet because there's not enough development made for it yet.
This page will include some extra info that may or may not be on the Gamebanana page.
The Ultimate Collab Event
For those who haven't been on our Gamebanana page (it will be mentioned a lot here), I made a first-of-its-kind Vs. Tailsonic event, called the Ultimate Collab event. It is specifically for a track with the same name, which will be featured in V3's full release.
Now, you're probably wondering... "How do I get into this event?" Well, that's why I made this portion of the page!
First of all, FL Studio, the program I use to make Vs. Tailsonic tracks, is required. Tailsonic and his friends' instruments are all existing instruments in the General Midi Library portion of FL Studio's FLEX plugin.
Here is the list of instruments for the characters.
Electric Piano 1 (Tailsonic)
Nylon Guitar (CMO)
Xylophone (Monica) [This one hasn't been used in any track yet, but it will be]
Detuned EP 1 (Skylar)
Electric Guitar Clean (Unknown File) [He was only used in one track, but he should be in more by V3's full release]
Electric 60's Guitar (Scribble Dot)
INI's instrument is basically just Tailsonic's instrument but with a few modifications. I can't remember them exactly though.
To me, it doesn't matter what soundfont for Boyfriend you use. I just recommend that you do use a soundfont. To me, it's easier than using a chromatic scale.
You guys will have to use these instruments, but other than that your whole melody can be completely original. However, once you complete your portion, I recommend you also save it as a MIDI, even if you're using FL Studio's demo version. The reason I recommend a MIDI version is just so I can try and fit it in with all the other parts people make.
After you've completed the melody, I recommend you save it as both an .mp3 and .ogg before sending it to me, and when you're exporting, make sure you check for an option that says "Show tempo information". Make sure you turn that option on when saving, so I can use the BPM to chart the part. Oh, and I do recommend everyone uses a BPM of 140, even if some people don't like it, because if all of the samples are different BPMs, it's a lot harder to chart it.
Now, last but not least, sending. One you've finished it, and have saved it correctly, make a folder with a name like "Ultimate Collab track portion" or something. After that, since I'm guessing most people here use Windows (sorry to all non-Windows users), right click the folder, and click "Compress to ZIP file" or something that says to compress the file. After that, I have 4 options you should try.
1. Send it via Google Drive
If you have a Google account, you can upload the file to your Google Drive (this is how Blixer sent Sarcasm to me). After you upload it, there will be a way to share the file with other people. Of course, they require an email. Mine is connormugaasofficial@gmail.com. Oh, and set the sharing visibility to an option where I can download the file.
2. Send it directly via email
(Of course, all of these require the use of a Google account) Go into your email, and, using the email above to send it to, attatch the file to the email, and put something like "Vs. Tailsonic Ultimate Collab track portion" on the email, because I might be confused as to why some person is sending me an attatchment without proper labeling. I might reply to the email saying I saw it, and that it will be pending for release in the track.
3. Send it via Google Drive, then via email (Do both)
Basically, it's just both of them together. You do need the Google Drive upload link to send to me, though.
4. Make a YouTube video including a download link (Exactly what Blixer did)
Make a showcase video of your portion of the track, and title it something like "Vs. Tailsonic V3: Ultimate Collab (My portion)". Also, make sure you add your Google Drive upload link in the description of your video. Make sure you also mention me using this social somewhere in your description: "@connormugaasofficialtailsonic". This way, I'll easily notice it and I'll say I saw it in the comments.
And, that's pretty much it! Oh, and the deadline for this event is January of next year. Even if you don't get it submitted by the first, it's fine and I will still label it pending. It doesn't matter to me what day it is, as long as it's in January.
