Hey everyone, long time no see! Connor here. I guess, last time I posted was over a month ago, right? So, here's what's new.
The SoundCloud situation
If you haven't been on Gamebanana recently (Specifically on the Vs. Tailsonic page), I'll catch you up. There were two major things. One, (well, this is actually a minor one) was an in-general update post, which mentioned that I will soon make and release a mini-fix for Vs. Tailsonic V3. This one isn't the main part of this topic. The one that is related is the second thing, which was added to the mod page's body text. This was a warning for SoundCloud users who have listened to any of the Vs. Tailsonic tracks there. What this warning was talking about was the fact that since I don't have a premium account for SoundCloud, there was, unfortunately, an upload limit. So, after the Test Menu GAME track was uploaded, it was done--I have reached my upload limit. However, along with this warning statement, I also mentioned another thing--All Vs. Tailsonic tracks will be moving to Spotify (the ones on SoundCloud will still be there though). This means that any new Vs. Tailsonic tracks that haven't been uploaded to SoundCloud will be not only eventually showcased on YouTube, but also almost immediately uploaded to Spotify. This has already started happening, as the day after I wrote the text (just earlier this morning), I went to Spotify, and began uploading as many tracks as I could using Spotify's Local Files system. They are labeled in a playlist titled Vs. Tailsonic (The Originals). This has also been done with almost all of the Week 6: CMO Edition tracks as well, which are in a playlist with the same name. [This includes the debut release of the separated Inst and Voices files for both the V2 Senpai and Roses remixes, labeled as "[name] [CMO Remix] EX, based on the original names for tracks from DDTO+.
2. The "Colored" situation.
A while ago on Reddit, I made a post talking about some other things besides Vs. Tailsonic that I've been working on. But since this was posted in the r/TailsonicTheFox subreddit, you guys probably know there has to be at least /something/ that's related to Tailsonic the Fox. And... you're right!
A while before making the post, I joined the r/Bluey subreddit, since I have fallen in love with the show. [That's why it was mentioned a few times in the comments on Vs. Tailsonic's Gamebanana page]
I also made, in the aforementioned post, a mention about a few custom Bluey designs, and a sketch of one of them, too. And I also brought up the idea of a Bluey crossover for the Tailsonic the Fox series [the main portion of this topic]. However, I mentioned that I already have a lot of stuff on my plate, including an idea for an Animator vs. Animation crossover.
But, something changed...
Just earlier, I was working on an IP Guideline document for our project, to be released on our project's beta Google Classroom page. This document just goes over characters at the moment, but it will cover more stuff, too.
There was a section I made earlier titled "Characters that don't belong to me", which basically gives copyright credit to the owners of characters like the ones in the Tailsonic the Fox: The Crossover and Friday Night Funkin': Vs. Tailsonic mods. However, there was a third one I added. This one is currently titled "Tailsonic the Fox: Colored Crossover". The name "Colored Crossover" comes from a private Notepad project I'm working on that basically has some stuff in between the real world and Bluey's world. [This story series also has some bits with Tailsonic the Fox characters in newer parts]
In case you haven't figured out what this mod is supposed to be, it's supposed to act like a Tailsonic the Fox x Bluey crossover. And that's what it is planned to be. However, just like with the planned Animator vs. Animation crossover, in order to fully get it started with development, I have to get permission to do so from the creator(s) of the franchise, which, in this case, would probably be either Ludo Studio or BBC Studios. [Most likely BBC Studios since they have the merchandising rights.]
But, yeah! That's all for now. If I missed anything, I'll edit this post.
