Hey guys! Connor here! Ever since I made a Reddit post about some Project Tailsonic facts (15 at least, and some of them are outdated), I have stayed really quiet about the Crossover mod for Tailsonic the Fox. But now, I have decided to tell you guys what's going on. First of all, if you haven't figured it out already, the main crossover for the Crossover mod (besides FNF: Vs. Tailsonic) is with none other than... DDLC. This explains the "Literature Club Zone" track series that was meant to be for the main game. It got switched to the mod (actually why the mod is mainly titled "The Crossover".) It also explains why the first track CMO and Monika (no, not TTF's Monica, hence why I put [DDTO] in there.) sing in (of course,) FNF: Vs. Tailsonic is called "Crossing." Anyway, the main idea for a DDLC crossover DID start with the Literature Club Zone track, but it never went much further until I made sketches at school of both Tailsonic and CMO wearing the club's uniforms. Another thing to note is that the possible pre-release build of the Crossover mod is actually going to be a DDLC mod, titled "DDLC: Unexpected Incounter". Speaking of the mod, I didn't actually announce this yet (and still a bit after) until I got a response from one of the team members of Team Salvato. I was expecting Dan himself to respond, but after over a year of my first email I sent, he hasn't responded. Anyway, someone name Joseph from the team responded and said that if the crossover is part of a DDLC mod, it would be okay. The main reason I asked the team was to get permission to use the game for the crossover. I still however have to talk with some of the people who worked on DDTO (I actually did talk to one of the main creators on DDTO's Github page, but that was because I was confused about Mirror Mode.) about using their characters (and possibly chromatic scales/soundfonts, even though they are old ones) for Freeplay tracks in Vs. Tailsonic (spoilers!) Also, I have actually had a tiny bit of experience with DDLC modding, since I've used the Mod Template, which I managed to figure out the sprites, and part of the dialogue. One more thing to mention, for Vs. Tailsonic, I actually did something new when I started working on the in-game version of the Unknown track. Since I've had the old DDTO soundfont for a while, I actually decided to download a BF soundfont (I did download 2 of them. However, I decided to use the second one because the first one sounded too quiet. (and I realized that just when I finished the track.) Anyway, this might be one of my most longest posts here ever, which probably won't be for long. With that said, have a nice rest of your day!
